A New Leaf celebrates MA member creativity and seeks to publish the message of hope in recovery. With your many wonderful and creative submissions, A New Leaf continues to unify us in our shared experience as marijuana addicts.
The articles contained in A New Leaf are the sole opinions of the authors and do not reflect the opinions of Marijuana Anonymous as a whole. MA is not affiliated with— and does not endorse or accept contributions from—any outside enterprise.
Content contained within A New Leaf should reflect recovery, unity, and service, and are the sole opinions of the authors which do not necessarily reflect the opinions of Marijuana Anonymous as a whole.
As of April 2024, A New Leaf Publications has decided that A New Leaf will be available for free via email!
A New Leaf is distributed the 15th each month
A New Leaf benefits our fellowship in many ways, and we encourage utilizing it in meetings:
- A New Leaf provides a physical reminder to encourage members to submit stories and birthdays, to be part of something, to celebrate our collective recovery.
- Many meetings read stories from the newsletter as topic for discussion.
- Occasionally there are service-related announcements intended for groups and members so people can stay informed and connected to what’s going on in the broader MA community, and learn of opportunities to be of service.
- Distributing A New Leaf as part of newcomer packets is also a tradition many meetings practice regularly, in the spirit of sharing unity of the greater fellowship, and providing another channel of hope and recovery.
