“Observe the reality around you and the recovery taking place within MA. One only has to stop fighting.”
– Life with Hope, second edition, page 7
Too often, I find myself demanding a “lightning bolt occurrence” to tell me that I am on the right path. Yet when I am able to pause and look around me, I often start to see how connected every strand of my life actually is. While it is easy to attribute events to happenstance and serendipity, it takes humility on my part to acknowledge the gifts that my life presents me with on a daily basis. Chance and luck are most certainly a part of my life—but I can’t lose sight of the fact that both are part of a bigger picture that I can’t see.
Final thought: Today, I can choose to see life as a series of random coincidences, or for the miracle that it really is.
