April 12th – Acceptance is the Key

April 12th - the cut out shape of a person but there is an image of a road

“Faith and acceptance are our new solutions.”

Life with Hope, first edition, page 13

This is one of my personal mantras. Everything starts from here. As with the Serenity Prayer, “God, grant me the serenity to accept…” When I get frustrated with anything, I stop and remember what is real. When I do that, then I can know how and where to move: forward, backward, or do nothing at all. I accept where I am, what is happening, and decide what can be done.

Final thought: With acceptance, I live in the present, not what was, or what could be, but what is; here and now.
