“Within the fellowship, we can see and hear at virtually every meeting how people’s lives of suffering have been transformed, by humility, into lives of happiness, fulfillment, and joy. Our greatest flaws and shortcomings can become our greatest assets in helping others recover from this disease.”

I believe that this is the main way my Higher Power works in my life. The things I didn’t like about myself, my instincts taken to the extremes; the lying, cheating and stealing, are transformed into tools such as honesty. I can use honesty to connect with another pothead. It’s the best part of the program. The newcomer can feel safe and brave to share experiences in meetings, with a sponsor and each other.
Final thought: A joy shared is multiplied, a sorrow shared is divided.

We can have no speakers without listeners, no takers without givers. Being of service…
Written by, Geoff F. Recently, it came to my attention that a new MA meeting has been started at the Gay & Lesbian Community Center in West Hollywood. I knew one day such a meeting would start, for if we believe even Master’s and Johnson’s conservative statistics, 10% of all marijuana addicts are gay. I…
