After coming to the program, finding a sponsor, and working the Steps, I realized that I can be of service to God, myself, and others, which is a spiritual awakening. I honor my truth, seek guidance, and serve others suffering from this disease. We would not have a fellowship if our members didn’t “suit up and show up” for the necessities of Marijuana Anonymous. Through this work we engage integrity, willingness, and both compassion and self-compassion to aid others on the path of recovery. As we each develop our unique characteristics, we have, collectively, many gifts to share.
Final thought: Through giving back, we receive.
