For me, developing humility takes a long time. Humility involves seeing myself exactly as God sees me. I had to become humble in MA and that meant that I had to become teachable. Humility means that I accept reality. When I was using marijuana, I was stuck in a privately defined world of my own grandeur. Now that I am clean, I have to remember to stay in a fit spiritual condition. Being humble is being real, and by being real, I join the human race. Humility allowed me to be part of a fellowship, and that was what I was looking for my entire life.

Final thought: Today, I am free because I am humble.
