“When we regularly seek…expansion through prayer and meditation, rather than marijuana use, we find that we are increasingly fulfilled…”
– Life with Hope, first edition, page 55
If my perception is inherently limited, if I am stuck with my own subjectivity, then how am I supposed to not only accept that we are all interconnected, let alone experience that elusive unity? For me, this is my mission, given to me as the greatest gift of the 12 Steps of Marijuana Anonymous. I get to seek, through prayer and meditation, to improve my conscious contact with, and awareness of, this unity. My prayers and meditations are not designed to get anything other than to remember the unity. I need to remind myself of this each and every moment, that’s just how it has to be.
Final thought: Today, when I remember that we are all a part of, that being together is the only way, then I am ready to be the best I can be, an integral part of the whole, receptive to the unity.
