“Through prayer and meditation, we are brought over and over again into contact with a loving Presence. We sense the healing force of God in our lives.”
– Life with Hope, second edition, page 60
My prayer:
“Divine Presence, which is in all of life, help me today to remember that you are always here. I am never alone, and your guidance is always available. How do I access your support? All I need to do is ask. Ask for an intuitive thought, or guidance, or comfort, and it will come in its own time. Being human, I don’t always remember to ask or to wait for an answer to my prayers. As an addict, I want what I want when I want it. I am grateful to be learning a new way of moving through the world with your help. Please channel your love and guidance through me so that I may be an instrument of your love, grace, and abundance. Help me remember that I am held in your loving embrace at all times. You know us better than we know ourselves. Humor us, as we trudge along the road of happy destiny.”
Final thought: Today, I seek the guidance of my Higher Power in all I do.

Written by, Janet F. About 3000 years ago, the poet Homer told a story about a man called Odysseus, and his travels as he returned home to Greece from the Trojan Wars. He and his men met up with many adventures along the way, but one I always remembered was when he and his crew…

Written by, Mariska P. The Fourth MA Conference meant progress and letting go for me. Just under two years ago, it was “us” versus “them” and now it is “we”, a true unified entity of marijuana addicts in recovery. My how far we have come. Imagine through all the different opinions and personalities, Marijuana Anonymous…

Written by, Andi A. The Twelfth Step tells us, having had a spiritual awakening as the result of the Steps, we tried to carry this message to other addicts and to practice these principles in all our affairs. I learned very early on in MA that service would help to keep me sober. It kept…
