“This step says that we can be of service to God, ourselves and others.”
– Life with Hope, first edition, page 64
After coming to the program, finding a sponsor, and working the Steps, I realized that I can be of service to God, myself, and others, which is a spiritual awakening. I honor my truth, seek guidance, and serve others suffering from this disease. We would not have a fellowship if our members didn’t “suit up and show up” for the necessities of Marijuana Anonymous. Through this work we engage integrity, willingness, and both compassion and self-compassion to aid others on the path of recovery. As we each develop our unique characteristics, we have, collectively, many gifts to share.
Final thought: Through giving back, we receive.

Written by, Dave K. I have always had difficulty understanding how and why people don’t do a lot of what feels good. In other words, when I first began smoking pot, it felt very good, so I did it a lot. Sex is the same thing. It feels good, so I do it – and…

Written By, Kristen J Dear Marijuana, I know I’m a little late here. And as I continue these ongoing efforts of prying myself from your shackles, I know that I can say “goodbye” to the belief that you are the only one who can embrace and comfort me. I can do that for myself now;…
