My beloved, my wife, my true love,
I’m so sad to be leaving you behind, turning down a different lane,
But I know I can do better than you, eventually, although you do send me above,
I feel I need to be on the straight and narrow for a little while,
Take some time apart,
See if I can still smile,
While you break my heart,
I need to focus on self care,
Get my priorities straight,
Can’t do any of this with you there,
It’s almost like you’re not even a good mate,
And as much as I love you Mary,
You’re no good for me,
It’s actually a bit scary,
How dependant on you I’ve come to be,
So tonight you’re not here,
